Punntara is a compound word consisting of Punn and Tara. 'Punn' comes from wisdom, and 'Tara' means river flow.
We are a small family-run hospitality provider that offer rental pool villas for guests with various needs from nightly to yearly contract, meeting rooms and outdoor space for wedding and business events. Locating on the Bangkachao Peninsula, in an area often called "Lung of Bangkok", this area gives abundant supply of oxygen.
Within close proximity of Bangkok skyscrapers, Punntara offers a quiet sanctuary, Thai simplicity, and the elegance of Chao Phraya River to those who seek an exclusive escape, tranquility and lush greenery unparalleled to others. Our love with nature is embedded in our philosophy and we would like to offer you this unique experience.

Hideaway in lush green Bangkachao on the bank of Chao Phraya river, Punntara offers quiet sanctuary of four unique pool villas specially designed to blend Thai contemporary living with nature. The four villas are named after the four large tributaries of the Chao Phraya River, “the Ping, Wang, Yom and Nan rivers”. Wang, Yom and Nan villas have 3 bedrooms equipped with modern amenities, bathrooms with Jacuzzi, a sauna room, and plenty of living space. These three villas come with the additional bedroom on a Thai Rice Barge in our pond.
